Purchasing WVU Ethanol Alcohol

Tax-Free Ethanol is available for research use from the Research Material Management (RMM) system in Mountaineer Marketplace.
Research and Industrial ethanol is available for purchase by individual container. On-site inventory is kept current within the RMM system. For current Ethanol Pricing visit:

Instructions
Access Mountaineer Marketplace.
In the lower right corner of the Mountaineer Marketplace landing page, click the icon for Order Goods or Services.
Click the icon for Lab/Medical/Dental Supplies.
Click the icon for Research Materials Management (RMM Lab Chemicals).
In the Source Search field, input “Ethanol”.
You can also search specifically for “Ethanol 190 Proof” or “Ethanol 200 Proof.”
NOTE: When purchasing/requesting Storeroom items, it is best to have ONLY Storeroom items in your cart. Mixing carts with “Hosted” catalog items can occasionally cause errors.

The current WVU Ethanol Storeroom is on the Health Sciences Center campus, but weekly deliveries are made to Morgantown locations. Regional Campus transport is also available on a more limited basis.
Add the correct Proof and Size container to your cart using the “Cart +” button. If multiple containers are needed, they must be added in this step.
View your cart in the top right by selecting the “Cart” icon.
Review your Storeroom request and make any necessary changes. Then select “Proceed to Checkout” in the top left.
Carefully review your checkout details and the “Deliver To” laboratory location. This is the final “Checkout” step inside RMM for Storeroom requests.
Once submitted and reviewed, you will receive an email from RMM@mail.wvu.edu to verify funding, usage, and provide a delivery estimate. An internal transfer or bank transfer will be submitted in Mountaineer Marketplace with the provided funding for the cost of the ethanol.
