If you receive the following error while using MAP or Applaud, follow the steps below:

Error: Bad Request The request could not be understood by server due to malformed syntax.

  1. Ensure you’re connected to the WVU.Encrypted network or to the VPN.

  2. Clear your browser cache/cookies.

  3. Close all browser sessions, then reopen your browser and try accessing MAP or Applaud again.
