Finding technical support for research often depends on whether you are employed by WVU, WVU Health Sciences Center or WVU Medicine, and on what you are trying to accomplish. At WVU, information technology is decentralized, meaning support comes from many units with different tools and different reporting structures. WVU has selected Huron Research Suite as its electronic research administration platform for the future. It will replace WVU+kc (Kuali) for proposal submission, award management, protocol management, conflict of interest and more. Implementation will begin in 2025. The new platform will reduce complexity, prevent the need to enter the same data in multiple places, speed up approvals and help ensure compliance. Learn more at researchportal.wvu.edu.
