Transit Financial Wellness Course
As part of your West Virginia University First Year Seminar course (WVUe 191 or its equivalent), you will participate in an online financial education course called "Transit Financial Wellness." This course is part of WVU’s Personal Financial Education Program and is designed to not only educate but to empower you to make well-informed financial decisions.
Do I have to take the Transit Financial Wellness course?
All students enrolled in a first year seminar course are required to complete the online Transit Financial Wellness course as part of their First Year Seminar.
To receive credit, you are required to complete each section by the date it is due. For this semester's important dates, go to financialaid.wvu.edu/resource/financial-planning.
How do I take the course?
You may access the Transit course at the link below. You may also find it on the WVU Financial Aid Office website (financialaid.wvu.edu) by clicking on the Everfi Transit link. We strongly recommend that you complete "Transit" prior to starting classes.
Enter your Login credentials. If you have not activated your Login account for the University, please go to login.wvu.edu and click on Claim Account.
Complete the Transit Course and take the quiz. You may work on it in multiple sittings.
What if I need help?
Should you have any problems with logging into the Transit system using your Login credentials, contact WVU’s Information Technology Service Desk at 304-293-4444. If you experience any technical difficulties while in the course, click the Help button to access the EverFi 24/7 technical support.
