Exporting and Printing MAP Reports
Direct printing has been disabled in MAP. You can export MAP reports to either Word or Excel and print MAP reports from either Word or Excel. If you experience issues while exporting files, you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Export to Word
Choose a Report and complete the Parameters.
Click Submit.
Click Refresh Data. When the Phase field shows “Complete,” click View Output.
From the Tools menu, choose Copy File.
A new HTML page opens. Click Control A on your keyboard.
Click Control C on your keyboard.
Open Word.
Click a dropdown for Paste, and choose Paste Special.
Choose Unformatted Text and click OK.
Format:
Change all margins to .5.
Change the Orientation to Landscape.
Depending on the report, change the size to 8.5 and 14.
How to print
File > print > select printer
Export to Excel
Choose a Report and complete the Parameters.
Click Submit.
Click Refresh Data. When the Phase field shows “Complete,” click View Output.
From the Tools menu, choose Copy File.
A new HTML page opens. Click Control A on your keyboard.
Click Control C on your keyboard.
Open Notepad.
Choose Edit Paste.
Save the file as a text file.
Open a new Excel file.
Open the txt file you just saved in Notepad. (You may need to change the Type of file from Excel files to All Files.)
In the Wizard, choose Next twice and then Finish.
Page Layout:
Change the margins to .5.
Change Orientation to Landscape.

Troubleshooting
If you receive a 404 File Not Found error message when trying to export from MAP or paste data into MAP, you may need to adjust your browser settings.
In your browser, adjust your settings to add https://mapprod.wvu.edu to your trusted sites.
You can also turn off the Pop-up Blocker in your Privacy Settings.
Close your browser and open a new browser window.
Log into MAP and export a report.
A File download will pop up this time.
