The Faculty view of the WVU Portal will display the same information for all WVU faculty.

Advising buttons

• Banner9: System used for advising students, updating grades, or reviewing applications. 

• DegreeWorks: A tool that gives students and advisors a visual checklist of courses and objectives required for graduation, including major requirements, major electives, capstone and General Education Foundations (GEF) requirements.

• Navigate: A scheduling, advising and tutoring tool integrated with Banner. 

• Schedule of Courses: Shortcut to the schedule of courses in STAR. 

• Transfer Credits: Shortcut to undergraduate transfer credit information. 

• University Catalog: Shortcut to the course catalog. 

• WVU Engage: System for students to get connected with student organizations and find opportunities within the WVU community to enrich their college experience.

Course Management buttons

• eCampus: Shortcut to your current eCampus courses. 

• Finals Schedule: Shortcut to the final exam schedule on the Registrar's website. 

• Grade Modification (Morgantown and Keyser only): A shortcut to STAR where you can modify grades. 

• Reserves (Library): Information on placing items on reserve (called eReserves) at WVU Libraries. 

• SEI: Shortcut to the Student Evaluation of Instruction (SEI) tool that gathers student feedback. 

• SOLE: The Health Science's online education portal. 

• STAR: A system where you can view class rosters, email students, and enter grades. 

• Textbook Selection: Shortcut to the Barnes & Noble website where you can select course materials. 

Resources buttons

• Accessibility Services: Shortcut to the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) website, where you can view information about the OAS testing center and view accommodation letters. 

• Curriculum Matrix: Shortcut to the Registrar's website that outlines all degree programs offered at all WVU campuses. 

• Emergency Information: Shortcut to emergency.wvu.edu, where you can view emergency updates and sign up for alerts. 

• Faculty Senate: Shortcut to the facultysenate.wvu.edu website. 

• ITS Help: Shortcut to the Information Technology Services (ITS) help site.

• Academic Performance Solution: Shortcut to the APS tool used for enrollment and retention reporting. 

• Argos (STAR Reporting): Shortcut to the Argos reporting tool for student information. 

• Banner Workflow: Shortcut to Banner Workflow.

• Curriculum Inventory Mgmt.: Shortcut to the Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system for course and program approval.
