Zoom Webinars and Large Meetings
Your WVU Zoom account allows you to host meetings with up to 300 participants. If you need to host more than 300 participants, you can request to use a Zoom webinar or large meeting license or purchase a license for your account.
Zoom webinars allow the host and any designated panelists to share their video, audio, and screen and present to view-only attendees. If you have fewer than 300 participants, you can host a Zoom meeting like a webinar without a special license.
Large Zoom meetings are meant to be a collaborative event with all participants able to screen share, turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance. These meeting features can be modified and controlled at the host level.
View Zoom's Webinar and Meeting Comparison page for more details about the different features.
