Switch Between Zoom Accounts

Sometimes Zoom users can't join meetings because they are signed into the Zoom app with their personal account instead of their WVU account. Follow the instructions below to switch between your personal and WVU Zoom account. 

How to log out of your personal account

  1. Click the Zoom desktop icon to open the Zoom app.

  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner. 

  3. Click Sign Out to log out of your personal account.

  4. Open your web browser and clear the history from browser settings. 

  5. Restart your computer. 

How to log into your WVU account

If you are switching from a personal account, be sure you've logged out of your personal zoom account, cleared your browser history and restarted your computer before doing the following: 

  1. Open Zoom and click Sign in with SSO.

  2. In the Enter your company domain field, type WVU and click Continue.

  3. In the browser window that opens, sign in with your WVU Login credentials. 

  4. The browser may present a pop-up window asking permission to open Zoom. Click Open zoom.us  to finish logging into Zoom.
