Change Your Zoom Display Name

WVU Zoom accounts are synced with WVU Login account information, so your name can't be edited from your Zoom account profile. However, you can update your display name during a meeting if a Zoom meeting host has the renaming feature enabled. 

Change your display name in a Zoom meeting:

1. After entering a Zoom meeting, click the Participants icon in the Zoom meeting window. 

2. Hover your mouse over your name in the Participants list on the right side of the window. 

3. Click Rename. 

4. Enter the name you'd like to appear and click OK. 

If the meeting host has renaming disabled, you will not be able to rename yourself in the meeting.
