Uninstall GlobalProtect VPN

Follow these steps to uninstall the GlobalProtect VPN from your computer. 

Uninstall GlobalProtect VPN on Windows

  1. Go to remote.wvu.edu.

  2. Click Global Protect Agent.

  3. Click Windows 32/64 bit GlobalProtect depending on the version you have installed. 

  4. Click Run on the installation pop-up. 

  5. Select Remove GlobalProtect

  6. Click Finish

  7. Enter your username and password to your computer.

  8. You will see a "GlobalProtect has been successfully removed" message. Click Close

Uninstall GlobalProtect VPN on macOS

  1. Go to remote.wvu.edu.

  2. Click Global Protect Agent.

  3. Click Download Mac Client.

  4. Click on the install package to open it.

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Under Installation Type, select Uninstall GlobalProtect.

  8. Click Continue.

  9. Click Install.

  10. Enter your username and password to your computer.

  11. Click Install Software.

  12. Click Close.

  13. Click Move to Trash.
