WVU.Play (MyDevices.wvu.edu) for PSC and WVU Tech
Gaming consoles and smart TVs on the Potomac State College (PSC) and WVU Tech campuses use the WVU.Play wireless network.
You can register and connect these types of devices at mydevices.wvu.edu. You must be on campus and connected to the WVU.Encrypted network to access mydevices.wvu.edu. You will need your device's MAC address before connecting.
If you are unable to play certain games on your gaming laptop or PC, you may need to connect it to WVU.Play instead of WVU.Encrypted due to port limitations. Before you can connect your PC to WVU.Play, you must register your computer's MAC address at mydevices.wvu.edu then submit a ticket for a technician to register your computer as a gaming PC.

In the Device ID field, enter the MAC or Hardware address of the device. This is typically printed on a label on the device itself or may be accessible through a screen menu. It is 12 alphanumeric characters and typically displayed as 6 pairs of characters separated by colons, or 3 groups of 4 characters separated by periods. If your device shows more than one MAC address, use the one labeled as WLAN. View the Find the MAC Address for a Device article for complete instructions.
Note: Do not include any special characters in the device name or description fields (e.g., apostrophes, symbols, or punctuation other than periods and colons). Special characters may result in a page loading error.Click Submit. You may need to wait 15 minutes before your device connects.
Note: There is a known bug that causes manually-added MAC addresses in MyDevices to say “Not Registered” or "Pending" even when the device is working.
Any device capable of screen or media sharing will be visible to other users while connected to WVU.Play. To prevent unwanted or unintentional access, consider setting a password on these devices.
