Microsoft 365 Calendar Appointments are Showing the Wrong Time

If your calendar appointments are showing the wrong time, make sure the correct time zone is selected.

Problem

Your calendar appointment times are incorrect.

Solution

Check the Time Zone in Microsoft 365.

Using the 2019 client?

  1. Click on the File tab.

  2. From the left menu, click Options.

  3. Click Calendar.

  4. Scroll down to the Time zones section.

  5. If the time zone is incorrect, use the drop-down arrow to select the correct time zone.

Using the web client?

  1. Click the gear icon (Microsoft 365 settings) in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Options.

  3. Click on the arrow beside General to see the available options under that category.

  4. Click Regional and time zone.

  5. If the time zone is incorrect, use the drop-down arrow to select the correct time zone.

 

 You may also need to double-check the time zone settings on your computer.
