Because of the wide variety of mobile devices and email clients, and the way people configure and use them, ITS cannot test for every situation. ITS does not support email clients or “native” apps, meaning those automatically installed by a mobile device manufacturer. The recommended way to access University email is either through a locally installed copy of Outlook/Outlook Mobile or by accessing Outlook on the Web.
Exiting and past employees may not save WVU email for personal use. Additionally, exiting employees are not permitted to save their employee email beyond their employment as contents of all University Email Accounts are the property of the University, not the Account Holder. See WVU’s Electronic Mail Policy for more details.
