Managing Install Status for Microsoft Pro Plus

Current WVU students, current and emeritus employees can download Microsoft Pro Plus for free on their personal devices. Under the terms of this license, you can install Microsoft 365 on up to five computers or devices. 

Follow these steps to view your installations or remove an installation if you’ve met the five device limit and want to install Microsoft Pro Plus on a different device.

Directions

1. Open a web browser and go to your Microsoft 365 account.

2. Provide your Login username and password and then click LOGIN.

3. Once authenticated, you should be redirected to the Microsoft 365 My Account page where you can:

   • Verify what products and licenses you have

   • Manage your security and privacy

   • Change app permissions

   • Manage installs

   • Edit settings

4. Click Manage installs.

5. An installation status page will open. From here, you can manage your PC and Mac installs. Detected installs will display the computer name and operating system for each installation. 

   1. Display an installation date by clicking the arrow to the right of an installation.
