Add a Duo Display Token

Duo display tokens must be purchased through the WVU Bookstore. Currently these are unavailable on their website. Customers will need to call to purchase a token if they are not able to go to the bookstore. To add a Duo display token to your account on your own, you must already have a smartphone or tablet associated with your Duo account. Otherwise, you must contact the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444 to complete setup.

Add a Duo Display token to your account:

1. Go to login.wvu.edu and click Manage Account.

2. Sign in and authenticate using the device that’s already associated with your Duo account.

3. Click Duo Two-Factor

4. Click Add Token.

5. Review the Duo Token Terms and Conditions, click Agree and click Submit.

6. Enter your token’s serial number, which can be found on the back of the device.

7. Press the green button on your Duo token to generate a series of three authentication codes. Wait until a code disappears on the token before generating the next code. This could take up to 15 seconds. Enter each six-digit code into its respective field.

8. Click Add. A message will appear at the top of the page letting you know the token has been added to your account successfully.
