I recently graduated and I'm a member of the Alumni Association, but I'm unable to log in using a social media/email account. What should I do?

Approximately 100 days after you complete your last semester at WVU, your role will change from 'student' to 'alumni'. Until then, click the Employees/Students button and log in with your WVU credentials. When your role changes, you will no longer be able to use your WVU credentials and can use a social media or email account instead.

I'm a member of the Alumni Association and get an error message when verifying my personal information. What should I do?

Make sure you've entered your first name, last name, birthdate and WVUID number correctly. If your name has changed since you graduated, try using the name you had when you were at WVU. To make sure you entered the correct WVUID, look it up. If you are an alumnus and a WVU employee, close your browser, access the WVU system again and click the Employees/Students button instead. If you still need help, contact the ITS Service Desk.

I'm a WVU employee and member of the Alumni Association. Can I connect with my social media or email account?

No. WVU employees must click Employees/Students and use their WVU Login credentials. WVU Medicine employees and shared users must click WVU Medicine.

I tried linking a social media or email account, but see an error message saying "Access Denied". Who should I contact?

Only members of the Alumni Association can access WVU Library databases using a personal social media or email account. If you believe you are a member and should have access, contact the Alumni Association.

I already use a social media/email account to access WVU Library databases, but would like to link another personal account. How do I link multiple accounts?

You can only use one social media or email account to log in. If you would like to unlink an account and set up a different one, contact the ITS Service Desk.

I'm a member of the Alumni Association but don't know my WVUID number and I'm unable to verify my information. How do I find my WVUID?

Go to login.wvu.edu/self-service/lookup to find your WVUID number. If no WVUID is returned, contact the ITS Service Desk for help.

I'm a WVU Medicine employee and a member of the Alumni Association. Can I log in with a social media/email account?

No. You must click the WVU Medicine button and log in using your WVU Medicine credentials. Then, on the following screen, click WVUM Only - Continue without linking. You will see this page every time you log into EZ-Proxy.
