Allow Notifications from Duo Mobile App

When you first set up Duo two-factor authentication on a phone or tablet, you were prompted to allow notifications from Duo Mobile. If you didn’t allow them during setup, you can adjust your device settings.

If you don’t enable notifications, you will have to enter a code to authenticate instead of approving push notifications.

Allow push notifications from Duo Mobile

iOS device

  1. After downloading the Duo Mobile app, go to your device's Settings.

  2. Scroll towards the bottom of settings and tap Duo Mobile.

  3. Tap Notifications.

  4. Turn notifications ON.

Android device

  1. After downloading the Duo Mobile app, go to your device's Settings.

  2. Tap Apps.

  3. Tap Duo Mobile.

  4. Turn notifications ON.
