Firefox Homepage Problem

Changing your homepage can be a great option if you visit a specific site often. The default homepage for WVU-owned computers is www.wvu.edu.

Problem

You changed your Firefox homepage from www.wvu.edu to a preferred page, such as www.google.com, but the old homepage keeps showing when you open Firefox.

Solution

  1. Go to your computer's program files.

  2. Double-click on Program Files (x86).

  3. Double-click on Mozilla Firefox.

  4. Double-click on defaults.

  5. Double-click on pref.

  6. Right-click on local-settings.js and select Delete.
