Delete Browser Cache Once

To delete your browser cache, find your browser below and follow the instructions.

If you are using Firefox or Chrome, you can press the Ctrl key, Shift key, and Delete key simultaneously to open the browser's history/data window.

Firefox 124 (for Windows and Macs)

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click on the Menu symbol (three horizontal lines) to the right of the address bar.

  3. Click History and select Clear Recent History…

  4. Next to Time range to clear, select Everything from the drop-down menu.

  5. Make sure Cache is selected.

  6. Click Clear Now.

  7. Quit and reopen Firefox.

Safari 17

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Click on History in the Menu Bar.

  3. Click Clear History… and a new window will open.

  4. Click All History in the dropdown box and then select Clear History.

  5. Quit and reopen Safari.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots).

  3. Click Clear browsing data.

  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

  5. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.

  6. Click Clear data.

  7. Quit and reopen Google Chrome.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge. 

  2. Select Settings and more (three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the browser window.

  3. Select Settings then Privacy, search, and services.

  4. Under Clear browsing data, select Clear browsing data now.

  5. Select Choose what to clear.

  6. Under Time range, choose a time range from the list.

  7. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  8. Click Clear now.

  9. Quit and reopen Microsoft Edge.
