eCampus Content Requests

Instructors, POCs and Course Builders may copy content from another instructor’s credit course if they have the content owner’s approval. You may also copy content from your own development course to another.

  1. Log into the eCampus Request System (eRS) at ers.wvu.edu

  2. Select Create Request.

  3. Select Content.

  4. Select if you are copying content for a credit course or development course.

    • Credit course:

      • Provide the term and section for the course you are copying content into.

      • If copying from a credit course, provide either the term and Course Reference Number (CRN), or the term, course number, and section number.

      • The instructor or department chair who owns the content will need to send their approval by email to the eCampus team for you to use their course content. The request will not be completed until eCampus receives the approval.

    • Development course: Select your development course based on your access in eCampus.

For additional information, refer to the copying course content guide
