Instructional Tool Requests

Faculty may request instructional tools that provide expanded functionality for their eCampus sections. Currently, available instructional tools include, but are not limited to, Respondus Lockdown Browser, StudyMate, and Cengage. Please be advised each tool requires thorough testing to ensure functionality, security, and stability standards are met. This process requires at least three months, thus requests must be submitted no later than three months prior to the first day of the expected deployment semester.

An IT Purchasing Request is required to be submitted and approved before initiating an instructional tool request. This includes instructional tools that are free. For more information, please review the IT Purchase Request form.

How to submit a request

1. Log into the eCampus Request System (eRS) at ers.wvu.edu.

2. Select Create Request.

3. Select New Instructional Tool.

4. Confirm that an IT Purchase Request has been submitted.
