What's New in eCampus

May 2022

  • Session time-out warning (All users)

  • Manage image title attribute in course Content Editor (All users)

    • The Content Editor allows users to add image attributes. Now it also supports adding the "title" attribute. This attribute adds text tips to images. It is recommended to prioritize alternative descriptions. An alternative description makes content more accessible, while a title does not.

  • Collaborate - Download whiteboard and annotated documents (All users)

  • Collaborate - Live data insights on engagement during the session (Instructors/Moderators)

  • Collaborate - Insights on recording usage (Instructors)

    • A new recording usage tab now allows instructors to get a sense of how their students are engaging with recordings. The recording usage tabs allows instructors to see how many students have watched and downloaded recordings. And the last time a recording was viewed or downloaded. This new tab also enables instructors to make data informed decisions on which recordings to keep and which to delete or download to archive.

  • Name Pronunciation Display in eCampus

  • Users can add text guidance to describe the pronunciation of their names for other users.

  • Pronunciation for a student when the instructor views an assignment submission.

  • Users can see other users’ pronunciation information.
