Changing Stream Notification Settings

Note: Users can also change notification settings on the profile page.

  1. Log in to eCampus and click Activity Stream in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click the Stream Notification Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Activity Stream screen.

  3. Select the Stream Notification Settings tab to open the panel.

  4. Students can choose which notifications they would like to appear on the Activity Stream page. Options include:

    • My grades and activity

    • New Calendar event

    • Blog activity

    • Journal activity

    • Wiki activity

  5. Click Save.

Changing Email Notification Settings

  1. Log in to eCampus and click Activity Stream in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click the Stream Notification Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Activity Stream screen.

  3. Select the Email Notification Settings tab to open the panel.

  4. Choose the frequency of the notifications:

    • Email me right away.

    • Email me once a day.

  5. Select the items to include in the notification email:

    • New grades and feedback.

    • New messages.

    • New content added.

    • New and upcoming due dates.

    • Past due items.

    • New courses available.

  6. Click Save.

Changing Push Notification Settings

  1. Log in to eCampus and click Activity Stream in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click the Stream Notification Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Activity Stream screen.

  3. Select the Push Notification Settings tab to open the panel.

  4. Choose which activities to push to the Blackboard mobile app. Notifications for due dates always appear in the app.

    • New content and discussions.

    • New discussion responses.

    • New grades and feedback.

    • New and upcoming due dates.

  5. Click Save.
