How to Change Your WVU Retiree Account Password

Your WVU Retiree account in Microsoft 365 is automatically set to expire after 730 days.  

Change your password in Outlook Web App

Thirty days before your Microsoft 365 Retiree account is set to expire, you will see an alert when you log in. This alert will tell you how many days you will have before your password expires. You will see this alert every time that you log in to your account.

1. Click on the Change it now link. 

2. On the change password screen, you will be prompted for your old password and then be asked to create new password and confirm new password. The new password must be at least seven characters. In addition, a strong password is required. It must have a combination of at least three of the following: 

   • Uppercase letters 

   • Lowercase letters 

   • Numbers 

   • Symbols
