STAR Information for Former Students

Former students with WVU Login credentials can retain STAR access to view their academic records. View the Transcript FAQ (Public) for steps to access your records and transcript.

Former students without a WVU Login account should contact Office of the University Registrar to access their academic records or order their transcripts online.  

Access to STAR for former students

Access STAR directly at star.wvu.edu and enter your Login credentials. Former students will not be able to access STAR through the WVU Portal.

To retain access to STAR, former students will need to create an Alumni account at Login.wvu.edu by clicking Change Alumni Account Password. If you still can’t access STAR after a password reset, try entering your WVUID as your username.
