eCampus contains many tools that can help students stay connected with classmates and instructors. View the Communication Tools for Students in eCampus video.
Notifications
eCampus contains notifications under My WVU eCampus for all courses in which you are enrolled.
Your instructor may have also created a Home Page that displays notifications for that course only. The Home Page notifications may include announcements, tasks, and a To Do list. View Blackboard's Navigate Inside a Course page for full instructions.
You can also download the Blackboard mobile app and then receive notifications on your phone. After downloading, set your phone to allow Notifications for the Blackboard app.
After logging in to Blackboard on your phone, you will be able to see a list of all notifications. You can then click a notification to see its details. View Blackboard's Push Notifications page for full instructions.
Calendar
Your instructor may have added a calendar to your course menu. Items on the calendar can be assignments or tests with due dates, and anything else your instructor wants you to be aware of. Clicking an item enables you to view its details and instructions.
You can add an event to the calendar to be seen only by you. Click the plus sign in the calendar and then enter the item details. View Blackboard's Calendar page for full instructions.
Course Messages
When your course instructor or classmates have sent you a message, you will see a number next to the Messages tool on the main eCampus page.
You can click Messages to see all of your courses. You can then click on any course to view your inbox for that course.
