LinkedIn Learning (Previously Lynda.com)

LinkedIn Learning provides online learning with over 10,000 expert-led courses that cover software, creative and business skills. You can view these courses on your computer or mobile device. 

Licensing restrictions

By purchasing a LinkedIn Learning license, you agree to use it for academic purposes. The person assigned to the license is to be the sole user of the LinkedIn Learning account. The username and password cannot be shared with any other users. Licenses are assigned to a single user and may not be transferred. 

Licensees must use their WVU credentials to log in to LinkedIn Learning.

Connect your Linkedin Learning account to your personal LinkedIn account:

1. Log into LinkedIn Learning.

2. Click your photo in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown that appears.

3. Below Connect your LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account provided by your organization, click Connect my account.

Eligibility

Faculty can purchase a LinkedIn Learning license through WVU using WVU funding. 

Staff can purchase a LinkedIn Learning license through WVU using WVU funding. 

Students cannot purchase a LinkedIn Learning license through WVU. Visit LinkedIn Learning to purchase a license.

How to order

WVU Funds: Complete the SLIC Software Request Form if purchasing this with WVU funds. All licenses for WVU-owned computers need to be paid for with WVU funding. Once your order is submitted, SLIC will send you an invoice for your order along with instructions on how to make payment.

Personal Funds: Visit LinkedIn Learning to purchase a license.

Pricing

The current annual cost for a LinkedIn Learning license is $88 with a minimum of 20 seats required, and an expiration date of August 20th. If licenses are purchased after August 21st of a given year, the price will be prorated based on the date they were purchased.

Licenses are assigned to a single user and may not be transferred.
