MATLAB
MATLAB is an integrated technical computing environment that combines numeric computation, advanced graphics and visualization, and a high-level programming language.
MATLAB is used for math and computation, algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and prototyping, data analysis, exploration and visualization. It can also be used for scientific and engineering graphics, application development and graphical user interface building.
Licensing restrictions
This software is available for use on WVU-owned computers and personal computers. The software is to be used for WVU classroom, teaching and research purposes only. This software cannot be used for personal or commercial use.
Eligibility
Faculty and staff (academic researchers) can download this software on WVU-owned computers.
Students can install MATLAB for free on their personal computers. Go to mathworks.com to create an account. Enter your @mix.wvu.edu email account, click Next, then authenticate using your WVU Login credentials.
Install MATLAB
Go to mathworks.com, click Sign in and use your WVU Login credentials to get started.
