Banner Document Management Suite (BDMS)

Banner Document Management Suite (BDMS) is a document management and imaging system that is integrated with the STAR Banner system. One of the primary tools is ApplicationXtender, which is a web based interface that allows you to index, search for, and update documents within the system.

How do I access BDM?

You must have prior authorization to access this system. Managers and module leads may use the Banner On Boarding form to request BDM access for employees.

If you are authorized to access the system, view the BDM ApplicationXtender: Image Capture Software page to learn how to use it.  

Once it is installed, follow the steps below to access ApplicationXtender.

1. Log into Banner INB.

2. From the toolbar, click on the magnifying glass icon.

3. You will automatically be signed into the BDMS system.
