Intune

Microsoft Intune is a Mobile Device Management (MDM) infrastructure residing in Azure Active Directory. Intune is cloud-based and relies on a connection to the Internet. Intune enrollment provides device management capabilities including application deployment, policy deployment, configuration baselines, AutoPilot device provisioning, remote device control, and other management functions. Intune allows IT administrators to control and managed their devices without relying on a WVU network connection.

Enrolling WVU devices in Intune is a service that ITS is currently piloting. WVU IT departments may request that devices be enrolled in Intune with the understanding that processes and policies are still in the development phase.
