Chrome River for WVU Foundation
The WVU Foundation uses their own version of Chrome River to handle expenses, invoicing and vendor payments associated with the WVU Foundation.
This version of Chrome River is different than the WVU version, MyExpenses. MyExpenses is WVU's electronic reimbursement and travel expense tool and is accessed through portal.wvu.edu. For more information, view this MyExpenses article.
The WVU Foundation version will have similar functionality as the MyExpenses version, with a few key differences:
You cannot do approvals by email.
You will have additional features for Foundation purposes, including the ability to submit invoices and issue direct deposits to vendors.
System generated emails will come from addresses ending in .wvufs.com, such as disbursementservices@wvufs.com.
Receipts and invoices must be sent to special addresses. For example, receipts and expenses will be submitted to expense@wvufs.com. These emails will be covered in the training.
To prevent duplications that could cause problems, the WVU Foundation version of Chrome River will automatically create an @wvufs.com email account for you that is only visible in the Profile section of Chrome River. You won’t use this address for anything or need access to it. It is designed solely to distinguish those of you who use both Chrome River systems.
How to log in
The WVU Foundation version of Chrome River can only be accessed via wvuf.onelogin.com/login or wvufs.com. Enter your primary WVU email address as your username and your WVU password. You will also need to use your two-factor authentication through Duo.
