WVU ITS Training

The ITS Training group offers scheduled training sessions on certain topics, and will conduct training for groups or individuals by request. You may request training through the ITS Training Request service page.

eCampus

ITS Training offers training sessions each Fall and Spring semester for faculty to become acquainted with WVU’s learning management system. Getting Started with eCampus is available at the beginning of terms and provides an introduction to the eCampus system for new faculty and those with minimal experience. The Grade Center Overview training introduces the eCampus Grade Center, in which faculty can manage grades for all assignments in the course and use the “GradeSync” tool to submit midterm and final grades. Look for registration links on the WVU Events Calendar or in email communications from the faculty listserv.

Other Training

You may request training for yourself, your employee, or a group on many applications supported by ITS. We have recently provided training sessions on topics including WVU+kc and Kuali research applications, Qualtrics survey tools, eCommerce store setup and management, Microsoft Teams introduction, and specialized eCampus content. If there is a tool for which you’d like training answers, submit a request and ITS trainers will work with you in finding a solution: whether it is finding existing training resources, meeting with you one-on-one, conducting an existing training class for your group, or creating a whole new training class for your topic.
