Access BRAAN Protocols

The BRAAN (biomedical research and assurances network) electronic protocol submission system was used for submission of human subject research protocols to the WVU Institutional Review Boards until March 2012. At that time, WVU+kc (Kuali Coeus) became the electronic submission system for IRB protocols. Researchers were given time to migrate all active IRB protocols into WVU+kc and now protocol data in BRAAN is only accessible by staff of the Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP).

If you need to access an old, inactive IRB protocol that was not migrated into WVU+kc contact the Office of Human Research Protections at 304-293-7073 and provide the BRAAN protocol number. The OHRP will be able to provide a PDF document of the protocol.
