Kuali Build

Kuali Build is a form and workflow tool from the company responsible for WVU+kc. Each form is designed by administrators at WVU Research and delivered by Research IT. General users at WVU may be asked to complete a form in Kuali Build for compliance, to collect information, or to make a request.

Each Kuali Build form has a unique link associated with it. These links will be shared on WVU websites or via email. 

Note: Internet Explorer is not a supported browser. Email links will show blank screens if they are opened in Internet Explorer. 

You have the option to partially complete and save a Kuali Build form. You can retrieve it from your Action List on the Kuali Build home page. When you access Kuali Build, you will be prompted to select your affiliation for federated access and enter your Login username and password. 

Kuali maintains a repository of training and documentation in their Kuali Build Knowledge Base. 

Approve a submission in Kuali Build

Users who hold an administrative leadership role in their college or department (unit head, Dean/VP, etc.) may have a Build form routed to them for approval. The approval request will be delivered via email and can be accessed from the link in the email or from the Kuali Build Action List at wvu.kualibuild.com. Kuali provides documentation for Approving, Denying and Returning a Build Form.
