Virus Protection for WVU Students, Faculty and Staff (Sophos)

WVU students, faculty and staff can download Sophos Home for free on the following devices:

• Microsoft Windows desktop or laptop

• Apple Mac desktop or laptop

Current students, faculty and staff can install this software on up to three personal computers. For WVU-owned computers, contact your local IT support.

How do I get Sophos for my personal computer?

1. Follow these instructions to download Sophos Home.

2. Log into the Sophos Home website at home.sophos.com with your Sophos account to download Sophos Home for your machine or email a link to install Sophos Home on another device.

Note: Your Sophos account and software will remain on your personal computer after leaving WVU.
