View Your Grades in SOLE

To view your grades, begin by accessing the Gradebook for your course under Assessment on the left navigation.
The My Grades tab displays all graded assignments for the course. If assignments are grouped, they will appear within their groups.
The Settings tab provides information on grade ranges, additional grade options, and group settings if applicable. You may also find due dates, extra credit details, and late penalty information for each assignment here.
Please note that instructors must release grades before you can view them in the Gradebook. Your Overall Grade is calculated based only on finalized and released grades; it won’t include assignments that are graded but not yet released.
Overview of Your Grade Display
Your Overall Grade appears in the top left corner, showing both the overall percentage and letter grade earned. You’ll also see the points you’ve earned and the total points possible.
If your course applies weighted grades to assignments or groups, consider the course’s grading policy, as it may affect your overall grade.
Each letter grade and its corresponding percentage range are color-coded. Click the Settings tab to view the designated colors for each grade/range.
Viewing Assignment Grades
Graded and released assignments will show their letter grade, points, and percentage earned.
Assignment titles are clickable links, providing access to your Journal and Assignment submissions, Chat or Discussion entries, and Exams (with available reviews).
If the instructor left comments during grading, a Grade Feedback icon (blue thought bubble) will be displayed. Click this icon to view any comments provided by the instructor.
Grouped Assignments
If assignments are grouped, the group name and your letter grade, points, and percentage for each group will appear at the top of the screen, with a breakdown of assignments in each group below.
Rubric-Graded Assignments
Assignments graded using a rubric are labeled accordingly. Click the gray button to view your rubric scores by section, or click the assignment title to view your submission and the full rubric.
