SOLE Surveys
Surveys in SOLE provide instructors with a structured environment for creating, delivering, and analyzing survey results from SOLE users. Unlike Exams, Surveys can be set to collect anonymous responses and are ideal for gathering attitudinal data, course feedback, and other research-related information through easy-to-create Likert-type questions. Surveys can be distributed within a SOLE course or via email using a survey URL. The Survey Reports tool provides statistical data for analysis based on questions or individual responses.
To access Surveys, click Assessment from the left navigation, then select Surveys.
Types of surveys
Site (Course): Restricted to users enrolled in the SOLE course or site where the survey was created. Users must be logged into their SOLE account and enrolled in the course to participate.
Public: Accessible to anyone with the survey link. These surveys can be taken multiple times by a user, and this setting is permanent and unchangeable once the survey is published.
Protected: Requires users to have a SOLE account and to be logged in. However, users do not need to be enrolled in the course, as a link can be shared for access.
