SOLE Exams

The Exams tool is located under Assessment in the left navigation of a course. Exams provides detailed question bank organization options and exam creation. Delivery methods include the LockDown browser and an interactive student exam environment.

Once you've clicked on Exams you'll be able to view existing exams, access and edit the Question Bank, Import/Export Questions, and add a new exam.

When viewing existing exams, exams that are in draft mode will be grayed out. Released and closed exams will be in blue text but closed exams will be labeled as such. To re-order exams, click and drag from the left of the exam title.

Exam questions can be delivered in a random order, or a defined order, depending on specified Advanced Settings. A specified number of questions can also be delivered from a larger pool of questions by defining Section Settings within an exam.
