If an iOS user receives an error code such as “For security reasons, we require additional information to verify your account,” or if Duo displays a greyed-out screen, user should confirm that the content restrictions are turned off. Follow the following instructions to change settings to always allow content from Duo.

  1. Navigate to Settings app> Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content.

  2. Uncheck Limit Adult Websites to completely disable content restrictions. If you do not want to fully disable content restrictions, you can add http://duosecurity.com to the Always Allow list in same section. This will allow the Duo Prompt to display even if content restrictions are enabled.
