For password protected accounts, FTP-Depot passwords expire every 42 days. You will receive an email when your password is about to expire. If you do not change your password before the expiration date, your account will be locked. You will then have to have your password reset before you can log in again.
How do I change my password?
Change your password at https://ftp-depot.wvu.edu. If your password has already expired, contact the ITS Service Desk.
Restrictions on passwords:
There are some restrictions on what passwords may be:
No dictionary words.
No usernames or any part of your own name.
Must contain alpha/numeric/special characters.
Must be eight characters in length.
