MATLAB is an integrated technical computing environment that combines numeric computation, advanced graphics and visualization, and a high-level programming language.
MATLAB is used for math and computation, algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and prototyping, data analysis, exploration and visualization. It can also be used for scientific and engineering graphics, application development and graphical user interface building.
Licensing restrictions
This software is available for use on WVU-owned computers and personal computers. The software is to be used for WVU classroom, teaching and research purposes only. This software cannot be used for personal or commercial use.
Eligibility
Faculty can purchase this software through WVU using WVU funding.
Staff can purchase this software through WVU using WVU funding.
Students can install MATLAB for free. Go to mathworks.com to create an account. Use your primary WVU account to authenticate.
