Make sure your browser is configured correctly. View our How to Access MAP article to see if you have the correct security settings.
If you are still unable to open MAP forms, make sure you're using the latest version of Java. To check which version of Java you have or install the updated version of Java, visit the Recommended Java Version article.
If you update Java and still can't access MAP, try adding WVU sites to your computer's trusted sites:
Windows:
Open Internet Options from the Start Menu search.
Select the Security tab then click Trusted Sites.
Click Sites.
Enter https://mapprod.wvu.edu and click Add.
Mac:
Go to Tools then select Internet Options.
Select Security and click the Trusted Sites icon.
Click Sites.
Enter https://mapprod.wvu.edu and click Add.
Getting an error message when you log into MAP?
If you are using Firefox and get an error message, view the Firefox Java Problems article. For all other error messages, submit a ticket for MAP support. If possible, send a screenshot of the error message or copy the error message in your request.

If you can't access any responsibilities after you clear your browser cache, close all browser windows before trying to log into MAP again. If you need to add MAP responsibilities for an employee, use the Log In button at the top of this page then submit a Business Information Service Request.

Open the Java Control Panel:
Windows 10 users can use the magnifying glass to search for "Configure Java."Mac users can click the Apple icon, select System preferences and then select Java.
Click on the Security tab.
Click the Edit Site List button. Enter https://mapprod.wvu.edu/ and click the Add button.
Click OK to close the Exception List window. Click OK again to close out of Java Control Panel.
(If a window appears stating that the version of Java is out of date, click “later”)Log into MAP using a new browser session.
