As part of the Evisions upgrade and server change, STAR Support is currently in the process of replacing existing ADO connections with new Oracle connections. This process will change the name and connection status displayed for data blocks in all Argos environments (PROD, FINAL, TEST and DEV).
Viewing a data block
When opening a data block that has been given a new Oracle connection, users will see - Oracle added to the name of the data block. Upon running the data block, users will see Data Source: Currently unavailable next to date and time. This status can be disregarded, as the data source is actually available.
Since users can only query the database from the Argos instance they are logged into, STAR Ops will be removing the connection status altogether over the next several weeks.
