Email signatures are an easy way to add your contact information to the bottom of your outgoing email messages. WVU Brand Center provides a standard email signature that encourages consistency across the University. Use the steps below to create an email signature in Outlook. How to create an email signature in Outlook for Windows
Click File and select Options.
Click the Mail section from the Outlook Options menu and select Signatures.
In the E-mail Signature tab, click New.
Enter a name for your new email signature, and click OK.
Type your information in the Edit Signature box. Type a forward slash before your name.
Press Enter to make your email a hyperlink.
Highlight the text and set the font to Helvetica, 12. Bold the first line of the email signature.
Highlight the text (excluding the forward slash) and click the drop-down arrow next to Automatic. Click More Colors.
Click Custom and enter 0 for Red, 40 for Green and 85 for Blue. Click OK - this will make the text blue.
Highlight the forward slash at the beginning of the signature and click the drop-down arrow next to Automatic. Click More Colors.
Click Custom and enter 234 for Red, 170 for Green and 0 for Blue. Click OK - this will make the forward slash gold.
If you would like the signature to automatically appear when you create a new message and/or send a reply or forward, adjust the default signature settings. When you click the down arrow, you should see the name of your signature.
Make any other adjustments as needed. When you are satisfied with your email signature, click OK.
How to create an email signature in Outlook for Mac
Click Outlook drop-down menu and select Preferences.
Click Signatures.
Click the + sign.
Double-click Untitled and rename the signature "WVU Signature".
Copy the following signature and paste it into the box on the right:

Replace Lexi Lifeson's information with your information.
Highlight the first line of text, right-click it and select Font. Choose Helvetica, Bold, 12 as the Font, Font style and Size and click OK.
Highlight the other lines of text, right-click them and select Font. Choose Arial, Regular, 12 (or Helvetica Neue, Regular, 12) as the Font, Font style and Size and click OK.
Highlight the forward slash at the beginning of the signature, right-click it and select Font. Select More Colors from the Font color drop-down menu. Select the color slider option. Enter 234 for Red, 170 for Green and 0 for Blue. This will make the slash gold.
Highlight all of the text, right-click it and select Font. Select More Colors from the Font color drop-down menu. Select the color slider option. Enter 0 for Red, 40 for Green and 85 for Blue. This will make the text blue.
If you would like your email address to be hyperlinked, highlight it, right-click it and choose Hyperlink. Make sure your email address is entered correctly and click OK.
Choose whether you'd like your email signatures to be included in newly created messages and replies/forwards. All of your changes will be automatically saved.
How to create an email signature in Outlook Web App
Click on the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the web app.
Scroll down and select Mail under Your app settings.
Select Email signature under the Layout section in the Options menu.

Copy the following signature and paste it into the Email Signature box:

If you would like your email address to be hyperlinked, highlight your email address, click on the More drop-down arrow and select the Insert hyperlink icon.
The boxes next to the options to automatically include your email signature on new messages you compose, forward or reply to should already be checked. If you would not like your email signature to be automatically included, uncheck those boxes.
When you are satisfied with your email signature, click Save.
