Overview:
Browse the Outlook articles in our Knowledge Base to find information specific to WVU Outlook accounts. If you need general Outlook email assistance, visit Outlook for Windows video training page or search the Microsoft support site. Below are links to popular support topics.
Note: Because of the wide variety of mobile devices and email clients, and the way people configure and use them, ITS cannot test for every situation. ITS does not support email clients or “native” apps, meaning those automatically installed by a mobile device manufacturer. The recommended way to access University email is either through a locally installed copy of Outlook/Outlook Mobile or by accessing Outlook on the Web.
Helpful Outlook links:
Note: University policy prohibits the automatic forwarding of University email to non-University email accounts.
Note: Before you try exporting, empty your Deleted Items, Clutter, and Junk Mail folders – this will save space and time. Disable the offline cache file in the Windows Outlook client so you have access to your entire email history instead of the default 12 months.
Note: This feature was disabled for WVU Morgantown Campus Office 365 users to better serve faculty, staff and student workers, but users have the ability to re-enable Clutter to assist them in sorting their messages.
