Download the file linked in the order confirmation email that corresponds to the version that you will be installing in step 3. You will need these during the installation of SAS. Make sure to note where you save the file(s).
Go to slic-sas.wvu.edu and enter your WVU login credentials.
Choose the SAS .zip file you wish to install.
a. It may then ask you to enter your WVU Login credentials again.
Once the file has finished downloading click on the downloaded .zip file.
Click on the Downloads folder then Right click on the SAS94_M5 file and click “Extract All”
Click “Extract.” Default folder should be the Downloads folder. This may take about 30 minutes to complete.
Open the extracted folder and Scroll to find the “setup” application in the folder and double click.
Choose the Language and click “OK”
Choose “Install SAS software” then click next
10. Click Next (Specify SAS Home screen)
11. Select “Install SAS Foundation and Related Software” then click next.
12. Click Next (Select Products to Install screen)
13. Select which SAS Foundation you would like based on your computer.
14. Click Next (Select SAS Enterprise Guide Mode screen)
15. Click Next (Select SAS Foundation Products screen)
16. Click browse then select the folder where you saved the file(s) in step 1
17. Select the text document that corresponds with the version of SAS you installed
18. Click Next (Specify SAS Installation Data File screen)
19. Unselect any languages you will not need and Click Next.
20. Click Next (Select Regional Settings screen)
21. Select the same SAS Foundation as in Step 13
22. Click Next (Checking system screen)
23. Click Start (may take a few minutes to load)
24. Click Next (Deployment Complete screen)
25. Click Start (Select support option screen)
26. Click Finish
