There are several ways to access eCampus.

  1. Go to portal.wvu.edu.

  2. If prompted, enter your Login credentials.

  3. Click on a course under the eCampus Courses section.

Can't log into eCampus?

  • If you can't access a course, check the official start date for the course in STAR. Instructors may open courses up to seven days before the official start date. You will not be able to access a course until it is opened.

  • Make sure you are using a supported browser to access eCampus.

  • Make sure your computer and internet browser are configured correctly.

  • Try clearing your browser cache.

  • If you recently changed your password, try removing your cached passwords from your browser. (These instructions vary from browser to browser and can be found by searching online.) 

  • Having issues authenticating with Duo?

  • Try searching the IT Help Center for Duo help.

  • Check the ITS Twitter feed (@WVUITServces) to see if there is a temporary outage for eCampus.

  • Try logging into the WVU Portal or STAR.

    • If you can log into the WVU Portal or STAR, reset your Login password. This is the only way to synchronize the password with eCampus. After you reset your password, log into eCampus using the new password.
