The Required Information section is where you will enter the basic details to get started with a new internal grant proposal. Complete the Internal Grant Type and Project Title fields to the best of your ability. These fields are required.

Internal Grant Type

Identify the type of project for which a grant is being requested. The type of grant project selected here will impact the questions you must answer on the Application page. Click the drop-down list in the field to choose a type: 

  • Academic Conference: The requested grant funds will be used to host focused academic mini-conferences with the end goal of producing significant scholarly work. 

  • Community Engagement: The requested grant funds will be used for a community service or engagement project. 

  • Faculty Development/Travel: The requested grant funds will be used for faculty professional development or travel to related events.

  • Research and Scholarship Advancement: The requested grant funds will be sued for a research project or advancement or other scholarly projects.

Project Title

Enter the title for the project or activity that will be funded by the internal grant. Titles may be up to 256 characters long.

Saving the document:

After completing the Internal Grant Type and Project Title fields, you can click the Save button to save the Internal Grant document to the system. The document will also automatically be saved when you click the next tab.
