The Teaching and Assessment Faculty Senate Committee (TACo) has developed an Early Semester Course Feedback (ESCF) tool within the SFI systemthe SPOT system. This allows you to solicit student feedback in your 8-week and 16-week courses in fall and spring semesters. Asking students to provide constructive feedback early in a course can be an effective method of assessing instruction. Reports are provided only to the instructors and will be available within 2 business days after your survey's end date.

Login at https://wvu.bluera.com/WVU/ to gain access to your current ESCF surveys and previously published reports. If you are prompted to choose a User Group, select SEI_Users Student Feedback from the drop-down list. If you wish to participate in the ESCF process, click on the "View and manage questionnaire settings" task for that course section, click on the Opt in button, modify the start and end date for the survey, then click on Finalize.

If you need assistance, submit a service request ticket.
