Setting Up Macs
Macs are set up in a similar way to the Windows Autopilot features. Users are able to open the box and use the device immediately after logging inPlease follow these steps to sign into your Apple device for the first time:
Remove your Apple device from the box and remove all plastic it may be wrapped in.
Turn the device on and follow the on screen prompts until you see the Remote Management Acknowledgment page.
Enter your WVU Login credentials and proceed.
Once you have completed this initial setup procedure, your computer will connect with our servers and begin to download our standard software packages. Within an hour you should see the following applications start to appear in your applications folder: Sophos, NoMAD, Microsoft Office, and Self Service.
If anything is missing after an hour or if you need additional software, please log in to the Self Service application to find the software you need.
